Dell Insurance IT Services Gets New Skipper

FREMONT, CA: Dell’s Banking and Financial Services, Securities and Insurance group recently hired Joel Conrad as their new CIO.

Joel Conrad now serves as the technology leader for Dell’s Life & Annuities and Worksite – Group and voluntary benefits insurance business.  He will be responsible for overseeing Dell’s journey of modernizing their flagship LifeSys Policy Administration Platform using Dell’s own Legacy Modernization IP in addition to augmenting their already industry leading LifeSys IP with several Straight Through Processing mobile capabilities.

Prior to Dell, Joel was head of Enterprise Applications at QBE, CIO of National Life Group and V.P. of Information Systems of MetLife's Institutional Group Life and Disability systems and MetLife's Small Employee Group business in addition to serving in various capacities at Liberty Corporation, AON and Ernst & Young’s Insurance practice.

Dell life insurance solutions provide customers the ability to sustain the current processes while exploring newer and more efficient methods.

Their services include managing the existing products with greater efficiency; outsource resource-consuming operational functions to a proven, dependable Dell partner; maintain regulatory compliance and enable making sound business decisions with analytics and reporting tools.
