Also, to mitigate threats posed by portable devices, GFI EndPointSecurity reduces the risk of data leaks and other malicious activities via centralized monitoring and detailed reports of all the activity, boosting protection and security.

Curbing all email borne threats, GFI FaxMaker replaces paper-based faxing with an easy electronic process which increases efficiency and productivity. “The solution’s automatic inbound routing capabilities ensure that faxes are sent directly to the recipient’s desktop, eliminating the risk of being discarded or read by an unintended recipient,” points out Galindo. Enabling companies to gain maximum productivity from their data archives, GFI Archiver is not only a repository for files and emails, but also limits legal risks, helps achieve compliance, and houses critical business intelligence.

In the case of a prominent bank, on implementing GFI Archiver, the client was able to track the flow of emails where company information was being disseminated to outsiders. “Our tool helped in locking down the information flow and preventing the data breach,” adds Galindo.
