Stephen Collins, Co-Founder and Executive ChairmanDelivering that experience requires bringing together systems that were never designed to work as one. Completing an insurance transaction can involve data from multiple systems, including business rules, underwriting processes, third-party services, documentation, workflow steps and agents.
ManageMy was purpose-built to connect insurance systems. Its Deep Front-End sits above all required systems, bringing them together to deliver digital insurance journeys. It is the business execution layer between core systems and the digital experience, designed to execute those journeys without replacing the existing technology. It supports the three stakeholders involved in every insurance journey.
“We see agent, customer and carrier as three parts of solving the same problem,” says Stephen Collins, co-Founder and executive chairman. “You can’t solve for one without solving for the other two.”

We see agent, customer and carrier as three parts of solving the same problem. You can’t solve for one without solving for the other two.
Orchestration is the key engine of its approach. A policyholder action may trigger carrier data, business rules, an underwriting workflow, a third-party request, or a task for an agent. ManageMy coordinates these elements so the journey transforms from a series of disconnected handoffs to one, cohesive process.
For insurers, the objective is ultimately business performance. Collins says carriers are looking to sell more policies, sell them faster and more efficiently, reduce unnecessary risk and lower the cost of delivery. That means improving efficiency and economics while supporting more consistent underwriting, servicing and claims processes without introducing unnecessary risk.
The platform combines three capabilities. The presentation layer supports the experience, the orchestration layer coordinates data, rules, workflows and services, and the data application layer connects with existing enterprise systems. Together, these layers allow carriers to modernize digital journeys while continuing to work with the technology already running their businesses. The approach is designed for the present while creating a pathway toward more flexible digital experiences as carriers evolve.
Built for Insurance
ManageMy was designed specifically for insurance. Such a focus reflects the founders’ experience across insurance, technology and operations and the realities carriers manage every day.
“We understand their legacy system problems, their workflows, their products, their distribution channels and, most importantly, their customers,” adds Collins.
The platform is designed to work with fragmented enterprise environments while giving carriers a pathway toward more modern digital experiences. It can take data from systems of record, work with it within the platform and return it to those systems without requiring extensive point-to-point integrations. This lets carriers work with the technology they have today while creating a practical route toward what they need next.
A large mutual carrier provides one example. The organization had an existing front-end tool that primarily presented information and captured inputs, while multiple enterprise platforms and third-party services supported the processes behind it.
The objective was not simply to create a different interface. ManageMy gave the carrier a digital environment which could connect the experience with backend services, workflows and business processes across the customer journey.
ManageMy replaced that presentation layer with an environment which connected digital interactions with backend services, workflows and business processes across onboarding, servicing, underwriting and claims. Business users also gained greater control over journeys and applications, allowing them to make changes more quickly.
The change also reduced the technical burden associated with future development. Instead of treating every new journey or modification as a separate integration exercise, business users could take greater control of the applications and journeys they needed to change. That shifts the focus from repeatedly connecting systems to giving the carrier a reusable business execution layer for evolving journeys.
Giving Carriers the Flexibility to Evolve
Products, customer expectations and distribution strategies change. Carriers need digital experiences that can change with them.
The platform’s modular approach also gives carriers room to extend journeys as new requirements emerge. ManageMy is beginning to incorporate AI agents into its orchestration layer to support tasks and services while keeping digital execution at the center.
Proof in Practice
ManageMy’s customer examples span acquisition, cross-sell, servicing and retention, reflecting its emphasis on customer lifetime value rather than technology adoption alone.
In an anonymized onboarding transformation for a global, multi-line carrier, ManageMy reported a 95 percent reduction in onboarding time and a 57 percent decrease in customer acquisition costs after connecting dealership systems, carrier administration platforms and customer portals into a more cohesive process.
At a mid-sized life carrier, targeted cross-sell and upsell campaigns reached more than 140,000 contracts, generated over USD 450,000 in gross annual premium and achieved a response rate 50 percent higher than projected.
A multi-line P&C carrier provides another example on the servicing side. Following its migration, the carrier introduced a mobile-first experience bringing policy information, payments, claims tracking and other services into a unified experience. Proactive notifications and renewal reminders were designed to support retention and reduce lapse risk.
Turning Technology into Business Outcomes
ManageMy defines success through the business outcomes its technology enables. Its goal is not to leave digital infrastructure as an IT cost, but to use the platform and its services to contribute to revenue, profit and margin generation.
“We don’t sell technology solutions. We sell business solutions to business problems, utilizing a technology platform,” says Collins.
The company measures its impact through customer lifetime value, helping carriers acquire customers more efficiently, deepen existing relationships, improve persistency and reduce costs across underwriting, claims and servicing.
Those outcomes can reinforce one another. A more efficient onboarding process can reduce acquisition costs while making it easier for customers to complete a purchase. Better connected servicing can reduce the effort required to maintain a policy, while timely engagement can support retention and create opportunities to deepen the relationship. In each case, the technology is tied to a business measure.
Claims provide one example. During a life insurance claim, policyholders and agents may need to gather medical reports, certificates and other documentation. By coordinating and automating those activities, ManageMy can reduce the work required from customers and agents while helping carriers lower operating costs.
“If we can get medical reports without the agent or the consumer having to do it, if we can get certificates, if we can generate beneficiary flows, it takes a lot of pain away from the customer, takes a lot of stress from the agent and takes a lot of costs from the insurer,” says Collins.
The same principle applies across the platform. If a process can be automated, simplified or completed on behalf of the carrier, agent or customer, ManageMy aims to do it. The result is intended to be measurable in economic terms, whether through growth, lower costs, stronger customer lifetime value or more efficient underwriting and claims.
Preparing Insurance for What Comes Next
For Collins, the goal is not to replace the insurance industry but to help it evolve. He describes helping the industry as ManageMy’s “north star,” reflecting the company’s focus on strengthening the carriers, agents and customer relationships.
Insurance is built on long-term promises, trust and relationships. Agents provide advice and guidance, while established carriers bring institutional knowledge and customer relationships developed over decades. ManageMy’s approach is to strengthen those foundations with technology, making insurance easier to access, manage and deliver.
The company’s long-term vision is therefore centered on enabling the industry rather than replacing it. In mature markets, Collins sees an opportunity to help carriers close protection gaps, develop more competitive products and make traditional agency channels more productive. In less mature markets, the same architecture can help carriers onboard customers across life, annuity and health products while connecting with multiple distribution partners.
Modernization becomes a way for carriers to strengthen existing systems, equip agents with better tools and streamline the technology supporting the policy lifecycle.
It is this approach that has earned ManageMy recognition as Insurance CIO Outlook’s Insurance Carriers Digital Platform of the Year 2026. Its Deep Front-End connects digital experiences with the data, workflows, rules and services required to execute insurance journeys, while its insurance-specific architecture gives carriers a practical path to modernize and adapt.
