Experts expect the insurance market to grow by 51percent between 2022 and 2030. With so much room for expansion, it's just a matter of time before the insurance business completely embraces technology-enhanced operations.
Softheon, a prominent cloud-based health insurance exchange and service provider, signed a new alliance with Cox HealthPlans to use Softheon's Medicare Advantage shopping, enrolling, and billing platform. Thousands of people in Southwest Missouri will be able to enroll in or renew their Medicare Advantage coverage thanks to the Medicare-in-a-box solution. In addition, Cox HealthPlans may help current members in the group or individual plans migrate to Medicare by increasing its services to include Medicare coverage.
Over the last decade, enrollment in Medicare Advantage programs has more than quadrupled. The year 2022 was no exception, with an 8.8percentage growth in Medicare Advantage enrollments over the previous year. Moreover, its acceleration in 2022 substantially exceeds growth projections for 2021. Cox noticed the market's increasing trend and boosted customer demand.
Softheon leverages RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and highly adjustable process triggers to enable health plans to grow operations in Medicare, Exchange, or Small Group. Health plans that want to make major inroads into any new market must provide an excellent end-to-end customer experience. A complete shopping experience, a self-service portal, and targeted marketing all add to members' confidence and transparency.
Cox HealthPlans, the Ozarks' only locally owned and managed health insurance company, partnered with Softheon to better serve Missouri's rapidly growing population of new Medicare members by empowering a high-quality consumer experience for Medicare Advantage shoppers and members via Softheon's leading SaaS (Software as a Service) platform.
Softheon delivers premier enrollment, billing, and member engagement technology to health plans, using the health insurance industry's best practices and composable solutions to achieve cost savings, compliance, and revenue development possibilities. The comprehensive solution from Softheon also covers all regulatory and operational needs, allowing for a proactive reaction to changing rules and customer demand.
