New York: As insurers continue adapting to changing customer expectations, emerging risks, and the growing adoption of artificial intelligence, technology is becoming increasingly integrated across underwriting, claims, distribution, and customer engagement. The Global InsurTech Summit USA 2026 will take place on October 22 at Ease 605 in New York, bringing together senior insurance executives, InsurTech companies, and technology providers to discuss practical approaches to digital transformation.
Organized by FinTech Global, the event will provide a focused environment for insurance carriers, reinsurers, managing general agents, technology companies, and other industry stakeholders to exchange perspectives on emerging technologies. The event's current format emphasizes senior-level participation, with organizers highlighting a 2:1 buyer-to-seller ratio and 81% of attendees at director level or above.
Artificial intelligence will be a major theme of the 2026 program. Sessions will examine the application of generative AI and advanced data technologies across insurance operations, including underwriting and claims. Discussions will focus on the practical challenges of moving AI initiatives from experimentation into operational environments and aligning technology implementation with organizational requirements.
Claims transformation will represent another important area of discussion. As insurers look to improve processing efficiency and customer experiences, digital tools are being evaluated across claims workflows. The summit will examine how technology can support more streamlined operations while addressing the complexities associated with increasingly sophisticated risks and customer expectations.
The program will also explore embedded insurance, climate risk modeling, cyber market dynamics, and the operational realities of modernizing legacy insurance systems. These themes reflect the increasingly interconnected nature of insurance technology, where data infrastructure, digital distribution, risk analytics, and core-system modernization influence how insurers develop and deliver products.
Customer experience will form another part of the conversation as insurers seek to deliver more personalized and connected interactions across digital and traditional channels. The event will examine how technology can support omnichannel experiences while helping insurers respond to changing expectations around speed, convenience, and transparency.
The summit will feature senior representatives from organizations including Zurich North America, Liberty Mutual, Berkley Environmental, New York Life, Prudential, Gallagher Bassett, AXA XL, QBE, The Hartford, AIG, Munich Re, Aon, Arch Insurance, and other insurance and technology organizations.
A dedicated Innovation and Demo Stage will provide technology companies with opportunities to demonstrate solutions to an audience of insurance decision-makers. FinTech Global is also using a voting process to select 16 startup and scale-up companies for live five-minute demonstrations, giving selected participants a platform to present their technologies directly to summit delegates.
Networking will be supported through a matchmaking platform that allows participants to identify relevant delegates and arrange meetings around their interests and business priorities. The event also provides dedicated networking time for insurance and technology leaders to explore potential collaborations.
As insurance organizations continue evaluating AI, data analytics, digital claims, embedded products, and modern technology architectures, forums that connect technology developers with insurance decision-makers can support practical knowledge exchange. The Global InsurTech Summit USA 2026 will provide a concentrated setting for examining how these technologies are being applied across the insurance value chain.
