They can easily integrate with insurtech partners who specialize in niche areas, such as fraud detection, chatbot interfaces, or digital claims assessments, without building these capabilities in-house. This creates a "plug-and-play" ecosystem in which the insurer serves as the orchestrator of best-in-class services.
This ecosystem approach also enhances the customer experience (CX). When disparate systems are connected via the cloud, the customer journey becomes frictionless. A customer can start a quote on a mobile aggregator, finish it with an agent, and file a claim via a smart home device, with the data flowing seamlessly between these touchpoints. The cloud creates a unified view of the customer, eliminating the frustration of repetitive information entry and disjointed interactions. In a market where products are often commoditized, this seamless, interconnected experience becomes a primary brand differentiator.
